You've probably heard of the Disney Original classic, High School Musical. If you've seen the first one, you have probably seen the next two, and the spin off movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. It's been ten years since the original movie, and a lot people suspected that the third movie was the end of this popular franchise. This, of course, is wrong. Disney announced the new movie, called ¨High School Musical: East Meets West¨. The movie will focus on East High's rivals West High. Fans are ecstatic for new music to obsess over, and new characters to love. Disney is sure this movie is going to be a hit. Disney want to start a new instalment of the series for a new crowd. Disney has also already made a casting call, saying “What we’re looking for is fresh talent, with some innate acting and comedy skills. I would say a certain sense of confidence and comfort within their own skin.” The new cast may not only mean new background characters, but also new stars. Why not use our older favorite characters? The previous cast, Lucas Grabeel as Ryan Evans; Ashley Tisdale as Sharpay Evans; Vanessa Hudgens as Gabriella Montez; Zac Efron as Troy Bolton; Monique Coleman as Taylor McKessie; and Corbin Bleu as Chad Danforth, have all said they loved their time with Disney. But there seems to be drama between Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens after their break up. The two are not comfortable pretending to be a couple, and can't be in the same room together. The others, are all best friends, and love to hang out. The original movie was released ten years ago and is still one of Disneys best movies. Even then, this movie is definitely going to give the original movie a run for its money. From drama backstage to someone new in the spotlight, this movie is sure to come with a lot of new feelings, let's hope they're all great.
