Hillary is fighting for us. Trump is going to make America great again. They both want to help our country out, but you can only vote for one. A lot of things have happened between the candidates, as this year’s election has been very interesting. I will be telling you about the recent news between the candidates.
A Donald Trump video was released of him having a lewd conversation about women. Then, the video was released before the second debate, and to make matters worse, many women came forward to say he touched them in an inappropriate way. Then, at the debate Trump said he never touched women inappropriately. After the video was released, the votes of Donald Trump seemed to decrease, and especially the votes from women. With that, Donald Trump apologized for the video, and is making sure that video isn’t going to affect his votes. Next, the final debate is coming up, it will be a big chance for Donald Trump to change his votes. Hillary Clinton is still having to make her campaign strong as it is still anyone’s race. She does have the women on her side after that video, but the men are still favoring Donald Trump. Now, Donald Trump is still trying to pull those votes back that he lost from the women’s side. Election day is still not for another month, which gives both candidates plenty of time to get there vote count up, and above the opposition.
Donald Trump is touring around the nation, making it clear that he will not let the video and those women’s accusations stop him. Also, the polls also show that it did not hurt him too much as the percentages of votes between him and Hillary Clinton, are the same right now, as when they were in January. The race has been tight the whole way through, and the debate will show how the sides could fair on election day. In conclusion, with all that has happened in the past year, we should expect the last month to be the same. Right now it is still anyone’s race, and we should expect it to finish close. It’s all up to America though. The person America will vote for, will determine what our country looks like, when we find out on election day.
